Comment: I do not believe that there is any viable material evidence from the WTC and that there most likely never will be. Analyses of the dust are interesting, but not definitive. There will never be strong evidence from any of the steel or other rubble because 1) most of it has been destroyed, 2) what is left is not representative, and 3) there has been no credible chain of custody, so we will never be able to make definitive statements based on this kind of evidence.

Item: Flight 93 crash site, the Pentagon:

Comment: Much the same as above. There never will be good physical evidence from these locations because if it has not been destroyed it has been tampered with.

Item: Phone calls from the planes:

Comment: There MAY be some evidence here if we can find the phone records. But these, too, could easily be tampered with.

Item: Atta's luggage, the passport.

Comment: Ditto.

Bloomberg To Congress: 9/11 Victims Need More Help

(CBS/AP) WASHINGTON New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg asked Congress today to reopen the compensation fund for 9/11 terrorism victims, saying the city could otherwise lose billions of dollars to lawsuits.

Bloomberg says just because injuries and illnesses have been slower to emerge should not disqualify people from getting the help they need.

With the start of the 110th Congress, I joined Senators Schumer, Kennedy, Lautenberg and Menendez in re-introducing the 9/11 Heroes Health Improvement Act of 2007 that would provide over $1.9 billion in medical and mental health monitoring and treatment grants, available from 2008-2012, to firefighters, police officers, EMTs, paramedics, building and construction trades workers, volunteers, residents, and others whose health was directly impacted at Ground Zero and Fresh Kills as well as those who responded to the Pentagon attack. This funding would be administered through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and would expand access to health monitoring and health care to all of those who served, lived and worked in the se area s in the aftermath of 9/11. Similar legislation was introduced late last year.

Time is passing while brave, selfless people are getting sick and dying. This has to be one of the President's top priorities in his upcoming budget.I contacted the President's Director of the Office of Management and Budget to ask that some additional funds be included in the President's Budget for 2008 when it is sent up to Congress next month; but if the President will not act, then we will .

Indications so far are that the Democratic Congress will be just as bad as the Republicans in failing to investigate what really happened on 9/11 and failing to hold the perpetrators responsible. The Dems seem to care more about getting a President elected in 2008 than in actually doing anything about 9/11 or false flag operations in general. So don't get your hopes up, but do put pressure on Congress as one of your 9/11 activist activities. And yes, I understand that impeachment doesn't go far enough: criminal trials or war crimes tribunals are what is needed. But impeachment may be a good first step.

Patrick Leahy – 9.11 Truth’s Best Chance for Justice?

Is there any hope that Congress will reopen 9.11 for investigation? Many of us have been wondering this since the historic election results of early November handing Democrats a majority in both houses of Congress.

Many of us are rightfully jaded. The democrats in many respects have been complicit in the cover-up of many of the most important facts and questions associated with that day.

But, we should not entirely give up hope. The political tides are changing, and there is perhaps one glimmer of hope that we should all consider actionable.

In October of 2001 Senator Patrick Leahy was one of two democrats targeted in the Anthrax attacks (which was later verified to have originated in US military bio-weapons labs). These attacks helped to usher in the Patriot Act which Leahy had opposed.

According to Paul Thompson’s timeline:

"On October 4, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman and future anthrax target Patrick Leahy (D) accuses the Bush administration of reneging on an agreement on the anti-terrorist bill. Leahy is in a key position to block or slow the bill."

And then in late September 2006 Senator Patrick Leahy posed the following questions:

Knowing that big-graphic faxes can have a big impact, and after seeing this fax demanding impeachment, I'm putting out a call for someone to make a similar fax about 9/11 truth.
