This monologue from 2001 is very relevant, especially today.
This is not a shot at anyone's area of research or interest, or viewpoints. It is a call to unite and demand accountability in a way that will get results.
David Ray Griffin's newest book is an excellent example.

This applies...
To all facets of research concerning the attacks of 9/11. It shouldn't be seen as an attack. DRG's latest uses this very technique.
These were some of the most influential words I've ever heard. They set the tone for how I would approach people. I spent a very long time researching 9/11, contacting my representatives, and the media before I stumbled across this video. It affected me greatly. He reiterated things I had already discovered on my own, and cited them in a way that was EXTREMELY powerful. Then I was exposed to this, and this as a result. I know for a fact that Ruppert was an influence on Paul Thompson, and many others as well.
Say what you will of Ruppert (I've said my share... BELIEVE ME), but his "way", using their words against them, is an EXCELLENT tool in our arsenal.
"We abide by the law of the United States, that we do not torture.", and "I don't think anybody anticipated the breach of the levees.", and "Simply stated, there is no doubt that Saddam Hussein now has weapons of mass destruction."
Those are just a few examples... Here's another...

Edit: Incidentally, "debunkers" are WELL AWARE of how powerful this technique is. They use it ALL OF THE TIME. How many times have "debunkers" pushed people to the point of anger so they say something stupid, only to use what that person said against them later?
Also, contradictory documents, news reports, video, etc... apply to "words".
"The best hypothesis has only a low probability of occurrence" is another example.

I have tremendous respect for Ruppert. I don't agree with everything he has put forward, such as Peak Oil, but he is dead on right about 9-11. He also comes at it from the viewpoint of a criminal investigator, so he has the experience to narrow the focus - winnow the arguments - down to the most clear and convincing (at the time of his video). It was Ruppert who first opened my eyes to the Truth several years ago, its a shame he is sometimes overlooked.
While the video above doesn't precisely address it, the words from the criminals owns mouths help to convict them. They make admissions against their own interest - legal exception in hearsay evidence. Bush, Rumsfeld, and Silverstein have made these comments in one form or another.
One of the most successful arguments I have found in painting someone into a corner is this... sorry for the graphic nature of it...
How can human DNA from an 500+mph jet impact into a hardened Pentagon wall, human beings essentially sausaged into one mass of metal, concrete, steel, aluminum...etc, survive a fireball that incinerates the aircraft metal, exotic metals with impossibly high vaporization points, survive the building collapses, survive the building fire, survive the firefighting efforts of water and likely exotic fire suppression chemicals/foams - and yet still give a viable sample for identifying a unique individual in a hostile and contaminated environment?
this point opens their minds faster than the discussions of wtc7, controlled demolition, etc - all valid points, but yet, to the layman are more difficult to grasp and to sort out, than their experience of grilling meat and watching how the temperature changes the structure of it.
I agree on your points on Ruppert.

Ruppert has contributed much to 911 Truth Awareness but we have to vet what everyone says and do our own thinking and research.
Common sense prevails especially on the Webb "suicide". Ruppert is way wrong on that one.

Dr. Gold was a astrophysicist, not a geologist and seismologist.
Where does the "bio" in this "biochemical reaction" come from?
